My mind is in doubt
My thoughts have no clout

My faith was strong
But it was wrong

My religion is dead
It was all in my head

But I hope there's more
That I can explore

When my short life ends
And body descends

    Off to a good start. I like that it's short and simple but straight to the point and the meter is pretty good. It seems it had more to say, but at the same time, that allows the reader to fill in between the line and allows more for the imagination. Good poem.
