Never be forgotten

by Photograph My Memory   Jul 8, 2008

The sound of the pendulum
Swinging back and forth.
Telling me how much is lost.
Everything around, faded into an oblivion.

Summer days, winter nights
Don't close your eyes now,
There's still so much to see.
Swim the deepest of depths and climb the highest of heights.
Don't close your eyes, stay with me.

The loud ringing in my ears,
Playing amongst the dead silence
Trapping every thought.
It's amazing how such a silence can give such a warning.
A warning, a shot of reality.
And when it stops, oh when it stops
I fade back, far back.
Back into my world, where you're still there, eyes alive, a smile from ear to ear.
Never be forgotten

Summer days, winter nights
Don't close your eyes now,
There's still so much to see.
Swim the deepest of depths and climb the highest of heights.
Don't close your eyes, stay with me.

Your face so solemnly deceased.
So bitterly rested.
Not a bit of peace to be found.
You didn't rest,
Until your life was gruesomely taken
And your throat an open grave.
Your lies and truth bound together as one.
Your eyes closed, you've nothing left to see.
Alone; you have left me.
Never be forgotten.
