I am the girl

by Tangible heartache   Jul 9, 2008

I am the girl with the broken smile,
The one who isn't worth your while.
I am the girl who watches from ghost like eyes,
And when I'm alone, all I do is cry.
I am the girl who people warn you about,
I won't flinch, I won't cry; all you do is walk out.
I am the girl who has no friends,
No one cares, no one sees; and all the while my pain descends.
I am the girl who is to depressed to care,
Only because my family hasn't noticed, they seemed to watch me fall; it just isn't fair.
I am the girl who cuts herself to take away the pain,
I slice each and every vein.
I am the girl who has a lot of enemies
The one who seems to have more memories
I am the girl laying here thinking of how people have walked out,
It only makes me have more doubt.
I am the girl who is slicing her wrist at the moment to cut back pain,
Cutting deeper and deeper to let it all out, push deep in strain.
I am the girl laying here dying.
And all the while, I am crying.
