Chasing Panic

by brie kelly wise   Jul 9, 2008

I had to scrape this burning sensation off my tongue
I'm at the center of your lies and your wrongs
A pretty mixture of both love songs and sad songs
When an array of similiar characters steal the plot
It's me and you pointing out that we were wrong all along

In the end, the witness is always to blame
In the end, the victims get the fame
With beautiful laughter, falling from cloud nine
Now that you're gone, I find myself less than fine
Faster engines go past me in a whirlwind
Another ending takes me out of sight, committing to my sins
Deadly crossroads bring me farther out of line
What went wrong, love, I was chasing panic every time
