Web of lies

by Tangible heartache   Jul 9, 2008

You say you love me,
But how do I know you aren't lying?
I am stuck in your web of lies; can't you just set me free?
I can't get out, I am trapped; I am dying.

You hate me, but you love me; can't you just choose a side?
Pick one quick, otherwise I will leave.
I have watched you from this web of lies, all the while you make me cry.
This plan you have made to choke me in lies; I guess you have achieved.

I'm not sorry, but I must go.
You have lost me; you played to many games for me to believe you.
I love you, yes I do, that much I wish you to know.
When a girl goes to leave, she isn't kidding, she is through.

So either tell her you love her or tell her you don't, but don't play.
I am going to go now, so say good-bye.
I am not stupid; I'm not going to stay.
The thing is I hate your old lies.

They hurt me and make me cry myself to sleep.
I am saying good-bye.
You have hurt me, you hurt me deep.
This time, I promise you, I will not cry.
