Mountains Peek

by Crystal   Jul 12, 2008

Follow me into endless sleep
Where the mountains we climb
Are far to steep, and out of reach.
But the more we try the more we find,
Our hearts are willing to take on the time.

Forever we must strive to discover
The top of our mountains
And its secrets which do remain undiscovered.
No man to ever make the climb,
Has ever made it back and returned alive.

With ever rock we do unturn
A creature we find,
I'm sorry I disturbed.
For their sleep ended
To find a life begining
Continued climb, we still try.

The mountains peek seems in reach
But our hearts turning cold make it hard to see
As the snow around us is far to deep.
Minds start failing and time we spent
Seem unvailing at our hearts expense.

Our climb we must continue
For those of heart who wont give in,
There must be a way to breath again.
The chill so ferice, our lips it did peirce
And violet as the flowers below.

The mountains climb seem far to rough
As many decide to give up,
Never knowing the treasure that hides at the peek.
For years now the do desend, to the bottom
Perhaps to start again at a later time.

For me, Alone I will carry on.
To far up now to go back home
With out the victory of knowing I did it.
The climb may get harder ahead
But my spirit beside me is my best friend,
And together we will climb, until the end.
