Wanting Forgiveness

I never thought it could be,
that the way your life ended was meant to be.
I guess I never had the chance to say goodbye because I didn't want to,
I was scared and didn't want to lose you.
So I'm sorry for my absence,
when you needed me most,
and I'm sorry I never got to say goodbye.
When I never took the chances that were given.
You may be gone and left cold in your casket, but forever you will live warm in the hearts of those who loved you.
For soon, when my day comes,
I too will come see you in heaven.

    Ah hunny, this was so sad. losing someone is never easy especially when it is someone you love, my brother tragically passed away from a drug overdose, it will be 3 months tomorrow and i miss him more and more each day so if you ever feel like chatting then feel free to pm me anytime. but you are so right, your aunt will live on forever in your heart. shes your guardian angel now who is always gonna be there to watch over and protect you. Hang in there. lots of hugs.
