That Girl

by L o s tAndA l o n e   Jul 14, 2008

And all these tears she's crying,
The need to feel belonging,
All those times he held her close,
She's just not ready to let them go.
He doesn't know whats on her mind,
He never, ever took the time.
It's not too late to go back,
But her heart's already cracked.
She doesn't know what happened,
Things were going so well,
But then that one day, all she had, it ll fell.
She can't say just how she feels,
She's starting to wonder what's really real.
Fantasy and reality were spread apart,
Now they've come together,
A real piece of art.
Nobody knows what happened that one cloudy day,
They say she cracked, just ran away.
She never ran, though she wishes she did.
She never let him see her cry,
And all those promises didn't mean shit.
She loved him endlessly, and she still does.
But she can never take him back,
Her pain was just too much.
They still say that she had had enough,
She cracked,
She ran,
And that's the story.
but that story's not quite true,
As I know,
I'll tell you what happened,
So here you go.
She cried alone, No one home to help her,
She changed herself,
She couldn't ever recover.
She ran from the problem,
Yes that's true.
But it doesn't change who is,
She's still in love with you.
She always has,
Always will be,
You ask how I know so much,
It's because, That girl...
Is me.
