Snow

by L o s tAndA l o n e   Nov 2, 2008

The music blares through my headphones,
Delivering the words I can't seem to say.
I let the beat take me to a faraway place,
Where northing's wrong,
And every thing's okay.
There's no pain,
There's no tears.
Happiness is unlimited,
And the water is clear.
So if I turn the music up louder,
Will I see things clearer?
Will things fall into place?
Or will reality start to drift away?
The music fills my mind,
Clearing all the thoughts inside.
But outside my window the snow starts to fall.
I don't know it,
But it also falls in my heart.
Turns the skies Grey,
Freezes any tears.
Turns everything to black,
Like my breath,
My actions linger behind me.
I have to do what I can, to keep what I've got.
If I lose it then I lose myself,
And as soon as I realize this,
The sun comes out.
