Pull the lever

by Iola   Jul 15, 2008

Lay your hand on the one hand that slaps you
Your head on the lap of a dog
Dance forever with that enemy that attacks you
Light a candle in the heaviest fog

Ask the bum on the corner to fly away with you
Throw a pearl white thought into dust
Let the darkest moment become the best day for you
Purify the sweetest love into lust

Book a ticket on that fast train that scares you
Take a journey to a land of hell
Destroy every bastard that really cares for you
Become the sweet lady who kill and tell

Throw your arms around the one who bites you
Turn your neck to a vampire's tooth
Fill a can of diesoline for all those who ignite you
Rub pieces of steel into all that is smooth

Lift the gun that your parents gave to protect you
Press cold steel against a pulsing heart
Pull the lever toward each one that respect you
Then keep smiling and play your part
