Depression at its Finest

by BeautifulCutter   Jul 21, 2008

I picked up my phone and
remembered you're not there-
only a ghost of my thoughts and a
silhouette of my prayers.
It seems like just the other day
I kissed you last but its been 2 years
now and thats the past.
You're so gone and I'm at a loss,
never thought I'd lose you so soon-
that's depression at it's finest and
your life was the cost.
Oh how I wish I'd been given one more night,
just one more chance to show you your life
was worth the fight.
Everyone loves you and misses you my dear,
I wish you'd come back forever,
I'd give anything to have you near.
