The girl

by Angie   Jul 22, 2008

The girl so pretty, so perfect, so special.
The girl hated by so little.

She stares in the mirror and can only see what has been done.
The horror, the pain, the suffering.
Something so unrecognizable by her own eyes.

They never expected a perfect little girl turn out to be so ugly, so broken, so scarred.

She takes the blade to her vain and runs it across.
She sits and watches as all her problems pour out.

She goes numb.
A smile spreads across her face.
As she lies spread on the floor, the pool surrounds her.
She is set free.

That monster, that unrecognizable monster can no longer harm her.
God captured her spirit and the devil set her soul free.

Ten feet deep, she rest.
Ten feet deep, in a deep deep sleep.
Free from herself and free from harm
