No Where To Run

by Angie   May 22, 2010

I stand looking out the window at all the formality
realizing I'm just an outcast in the crowd,
no where to run
my feet frozen in ice
its getting so cold, so lonely
no where to run

I watch as the people walk by on the sidewalk
laughing, having fun, and living life
They can't see me, I am invisible
they are happy, I am miserable
what else to do, but run
I try and try but I'm left with
no where to run

every way I turn, the demons
from my past haunt me
no one sees my agony
no one wants to care
so here I am
once more looking out the window
with no where to run
waiting for my escape
