Moving On

Starting to realize
I cant change who i am
And if you don't like it
Then i don't give a damn

Sick of being walked on
And dragged along the ground
For too long I've let it happen
And haven't made a sound

I need to let go
And live my life for me
So now I'm taking a stand
For everyone to see

My walls become higher
Then they've ever been before
It'll be harder to get in
I cant stand getting hurt anymore

So if you really want to know me
Be prepared to wait awhile
And be ready to prove to me
You can turn my frown into a smile
