You may think my lifes a dream
But its not really true
You may think I'm happy
What am I supposed to do ?

I can't tell you the truth
You'll just wave it away
You'll tell me that I'm full of it
Not taking seriousness to what I say

You don't want to see anything else
But happiness in my eyes
You can't see behind this mask
Is where the truth lies

How long will it take
For you to understand
I've had this sinking feeling
That you've witnessed first hand

Mommy, why don't you get it
I'm not happy here
I know you thought it was a phase
But phases don't come with tears.

You may have thought it was over
You may have thought it was done
But let me just remind you
Its only just begun.

    I love this poem & right now i can relate soo much!
    ....i just moved with my mom and well it hurts and makes me cry every day and she thinks im over exaggerating and looks right past it....
    i sooo think this poem relates to everything im going through & i absolutely love it!

    Impressive!!...It was good that u wrote ur poem with rhyme..
    sometimes some people even the close ones can't get what u r goin through but it's life..No body would but u..

    I enjoyed reading ur poem a lot..
