Doll

She sits in the shower
Water crashing on her back
She feels she lost her power
And begins to hack

Slice away the feeling
That he left her holding
The one that left her kneeling
Her defenses unfolding

She let him touch her hair
Kiss her down her neck
Hoping that feeling he would share
Instead of leaving her a bloody wreck

He held her hand
And squeezed it tight
As if he never planned
To once again snuff out her light

The way his lips felt on her own
Soft, wet, and very right
Covering up her every moan
In his eyes a sense of delight

But after she gave him all he did want
She searched for the words upon his lips
Her actions becoming very daunt
As she played with his finger tips

The words she wanted weren't there
In fact he put his clothes on
To her heartbeat unaware
Her voice completely gone

She smiled still, looking at him
Wishing she could be more
Her happiness growing dim
As she watched the boy she does adore

Not one word she utters
Until she gets back to her home
Then she sings the lullaby of cutters
So broken and alone

She sits in the shower
Trying to scrub off his scent
Wishing she could be his flower
Wishing he knew what he meant

But no matter how hard she goes
No matter how hard she bleeds
His scent still holds
She wants to be what he needs
