I Go Cuckoo for Sudoku
Copyright Corinne Curcio July 23, 2008

I was never good at arithmetic
Numbers always made me queasy
But putting them in little squares
For some reason, I find easy

It's not Algebra or Geometry
Simple adding or subtracting
Something oh so logical
Challenging and exacting

123456789
I go cuckoo for Sudoku!
123456789
Cuckoo for Sudoku!

No numbers can be repeated
In a box in a column in a row
All you need is a pen and a brain
And you're ready to go go go!

635981472
I go cuckoo for Sudoku
718693245
Cuckoo for Sudoku!

Its secrets were revealed to me
Avenues of discovery
Each riddle solved
Leads to another
And another
And more mysteries
Another way of looking at the world
Oh, those clever Japanese!

Who knew doing puzzles
Could be so satisfying?
All it took was some concentration
And a little bit of trying
