Just the other day I went back to my hometown,
And I saw my ex crush,
And the past came back to me.
And I couldn't help but think of the way things used to be.
He was the one that I thought that I wanted for all times,
And each nite I'd spend praying that God make him mine.
And if he had granted me this wish I wised back then,
I would stop asking for him again.
Now, I thank God for those unanswered prayers,

He was everything that I remembered in my dreams.
And I couldn't believe that I've loved him so,

The good lord knows what he's doing after all.
I thanked the good Lord,
For the gifts in my life.
