Existence

by Christopher Bennien   Jul 29, 2008

Blackness brings forth the dawn of light

Never forgetting as old Father time

Creating the cosmos, the wheel of life

Just like the seasons that are crafted alike

Spinning the web of consciousness reach

Opening possibilities with synchronicity

How old are we as Human kind we ask

There is no answer within our limited grasp

Yet we listen, watch, and gossip about

Only trying to figure all of this out

If only silence could possibly spare us a hint

I am sure all of us would listen with eager intent

Please! Oh please father time let us know

The origin of our intelligent race

So at least we would have on our side

A taste of that wonderous answer that hides
