Thriving Tides

by Koriey Korrupted   Jul 30, 2008

Why I chose the title is hard to explain.
But it fits in my mind. lol
Enjoy!

whats to gain of the boy
that trusts only in one souls plight
not but the unveiling of a utopia
where there is never darkness only light

when all fates unyielding dreams
sends that anchor to bring forth life
will iced memories cross examine
one mans pain, for one mans strife

look forth beyond the illusion
seek not revenge for those who have transgressed
believe in the vision of chance
and consider it all for the best

you hold the heart of a warrior
a quaint perception never conceited
it pains me to know distilled desire
left your thoughts forever rejected, forever cheated

my deficiencies are my reason
however bold, broad, or vast
they sustain me here with you
and covet on that, that shall last

fear not the unexpected
for power comes from no control
thrive on lost memories with passion
from the lips of which they stole

you can rise above never against
fear not the monsters within reality
believe in sight when all is blind
hold the foundation against technicalities

take my hand and walk with me
through blossoms on the road less taken
together we can overcome
that which has been forsaken.
