Dead Man

by Tangible heartache   Jul 30, 2008

Two dead men fighting
A blind man keeping score
A crack filled the air,
And a dead, dead man fell to the floor,

The blind man sees,
And calls out a fowl
For the other dead man cheated,
And the referee looks with a scowl,

For he didn't go by the rules,
And he did it his own way
And since he cheated,
The other dead man's not here today,

And his dead wife and children,
Dress in black,
For they want their daddy,
Although he isn't coming back,

The dead, dead man sits in the cold ground,
All because a fight broke out
But the only question unanswered,
What was it about?
