When life is hard

by Laurenf7   Jul 30, 2008

The doctors say you are a fighter
Although each day you become whiter

As we continue to sit and cry
You push yourself harder for another try

The conditions are getting worse, you are slipping away
I tell people everywhere for you to pray

I hope I have a chance to say goodbye
If not, visit me with your wings from the sky

For your health we continue to worry
As your stomach is now hurting
And your eyes have become blurry

We understand the feel of confusion
Is it a negative image or our minds illusion?

There are pictures on my bedroom wall
Happy, funny memories I can easily recall

Never away from the thoughts on my mind
Why is life so cruel and unkind?

I wish there were new memories of us to share
But you are seriously ill, now in Gods care

We will all feel lost, the day he takes you home
But you will be pain-free and not need to moan.
