Kiss of Death

Heartbeats feel faster than seconds.
Breathing excels the limit.
Darkness surrounds you.
Dizziness overwhelms you.

Shadows won't stop spinning.
Lungs becoming heavy.
You give away to the Dark.

Collapse.
Broken.
Fallen.

Your eyes become a wall.
Breath upon your skin, a kiss upon your neck.
Sacred crimson venom, feeds another mind.

Your wings of gold have turned to stone.
Your bright eyes, burnt out.
Your glow now white as the ashes.

Embers burn deep within you.
Rage, thirst, and power takes a hold of you.

Familiar faces draw a blank.
Voices astray from your mind.
A kiss of death, another soul.
One more victim, who will know?

    Your descriptions and your words are very powerful, and they create perfect images in the readers mind which is what every poet should aim for.
