One Missed Phone Call

by BornAgainWriter   Aug 3, 2008

One missed phone call; turned into a heartache,
I never knew missing a phone call would cause tears,
So I lay here; thoughtless, remaining awake,
Memories of him and I happily together appears.

I've been waiting two long weeks to hear his voice,
Two weeks that seemed like they were two years instead,
The sweetest words from you sweet mouth start to rejoice,
As I'm sitting here, laying hopelessly in my comfortable bed.

I'm sorry I missed you're phone call, that I longed for,
I hope that you got my letters and enjoy every word,
Don't forget that it's you, everything about you I adore,
I'm laying here with a heart that feels smothered.

I love and miss you Carlton
