Lifeless

by Brooke   Aug 6, 2008

Through this desolate dream
words refuse to have any meaning
contaminated with lies
I don't believe a thing.
The sorrow that spreads
corrupts the delicate body
as it becomes tainted with deception
in it's own blind death.
My eyes deceived me
as I saw an angel of light
but I can see now
this image of fright.
The angel of death
has come for my soul
to steal it away
and take it's last breath.
Lifeless, now
my soul has left me
my body is dead
and my heart continues to bleed.
