The Journey

by HidinVictim   Aug 8, 2008

There's just some words
we do not use in this world,
This word I call my own.

Forever:
for a limitless time.
But my time is coming soon.

Whether I take it by force
with a switch of my blade
or in peaceful ways
as I lay in my bed alone.

Love:
a matter of the
beating organ enclosed
in one's chest
An organ in which I do not have.

She took that beating organ
And claimed it as her own
When my faithlessness
Broke her spirit and her bones.

So tell me
What ever happened
To the house to be our home,
And our love to aways grow?

There's just some words
we do not use in this world,
This word I call my own.

Where I love yous
Are lies, and
Forever never comes
There's a black hole
Where my beating organ goes.

Where at night
He beats away foes,
with lavish promises
I know will face the light
And away they will go.

We face the undeniable,
This is meant to last;
You'll be the knight in shining armor,
I'll be the damsel in distress.

Every time I doubt you,
You'll show you love me
More than all the rest.

An unfair cycle, yes I know
You'll slowly fix
my beating organ not knowing
your replacing it with your own.

This is the inevitable journey,
In this world I call my home.

this is a bit on the choppy side, but its really off the top of my head, and in its unedited form hope you enjoyed.

It was a bit confusing as you used her i think in the second stanza where you mentioned you broke her bones and then somewhere in the end you mentioned him as a shining knight...It was really confusing although i have a clue of what idea you were trying to portray..However i think this poem was written somehow imaginatively only there were few twists in it..4/5

Very ture. People really dont get sexuality. and it kind of makes me mad, when people judge others due to their sexuality, keep it up 5/5!
