My Very Own Fair Lady

by Wolf Haines   Aug 8, 2008

The dove does not compare in beauty,
Nor does the swan in grace.
No flower can compare in fragrance,
Nor honey in taste.
No petal can compare in texture,
No bird can sound as sweet.
No rabbit is as soft to touch,
And no deer as light on their feet.
No clover will make me feel as lucky,
Or no sun as bright.
No water can make me feel so refreshed,
And there is no more wonderful a sight
Than you.
