Thorny limerick

There once was a lady from California
Who really wasn't feeling any hornier
So she chatted to some fellows
And said won't you pump my bellows
And left everybody feeling rather thornier

The limerick above was written by Grant Gilbert
What is written below is just a simple response to his limerick
Thank you for letting me post it Grant.

One was A man From ST LOUIS.
She told him all you have to do is,
Just be yourself, I love what I see.
I'll always be here if ever you need me
He opened his heart and buried treasures did flow
But he soon looked around wondering where did she go?
Now he stands, A tear dripping from his smile
hoping and praying she'll be back in awhile.
Though it takes two halves to make a whole
her vacancy has left a much bigger hole.
Some say good riddance, your absence is blessed
But there are two men who knew her the best
From St Louis To South Africa, Our friendship unfurled
Don't ever forget Sweetie, your loved around the world.
I , for one, Just wish you could see
The buried treasures waiting to flow from me.

This was very lovely Jim. But I must confess haha I'm lost.
