how can you stand so strong
when the worlds so unforgiving

concrete angel with your heart of stone
how can you stand so strong
when the world just doesn't care

concrete angel with your unchanging face
how can you stand so strong
when the worlds in so much pain

concrete angel with your hands in a prayer
how can you stand so strong
when the world lacks faith

concrete angel with your fragile wings
your heart of stone
your unchanging face
your hands in a prayer
you show the world that god still cares
