Man Without a Heart

by Dina   Aug 9, 2008

Lame actions of a human
drew shadows in her heart,
built walls of illusions
on a face filled with scars.

Witty thoughts of a hypocrite
controlled her tiny world,
set fences round a child
curled firmly on the stairs.

Mean words of a manipulative
shredded pages of her dreams,
erased wishes secretly uttered
on nights of cryptic screams.

Selfish lusts of a fraud
Stole her right to troll,
Ripped the braids of memories
tangling down her doll.

Weird plans of a cunning fellow
shattered windows of fragile glass,
showed clearly little self-belief
stacked through a painful past.
