A Cutter's Prayer

Dear God,

I lay me down to go to sleep
Please keep away needles from me
Give me sweet peace and rest
Please keep away knives from my bed

Thank you for a safe day today
Please keep away razorblades
Thank you for friends in marching band
Please keep sharp objects from my hands

Bless my whole day tomorrow
Please keep away any deadly sorrow
Help me to at least smile some more
Before I end up in the morgue

Now, as I finally close my eyes
Forgive all my sins and my crimes
Please have mercy on me, oh God
I love you

    I like the concept.. i think tho it would've flowed easier to have written like "please keep needles away from me" "please keeps knives away from my bed" etc..
    but other than that i loved it:) of course...lol
