Emerald Fantasy

by Nightmare Fiend   Aug 13, 2008

Gazed upon by jewels of green.
Heart warmed by the unfaltering sheen.
Swept away by the jade-like tide.
Drifting in clover to where faeries reside.

Snowy pollen from willows flitter.
Morning roses sparkle and glitter.
Crystals fall with an angel's tears.
A moment lasts a hundred years.

All this I see in your emerald eyes.
Only one blink and my fantasy dies.
Addicted to love, I beg for a gaze.
A chance to fall back into the haze.

I stare at life through a pair of blue eyes.
But green is the color of my soul as it flies.
