You say that i am old
Well your right i guess
But not how you think
As far as age
I am fairly young
At 19 years
But experiance i am nearing the end
i am old
in that 18 years of my life
I helplessly watched
my mom abused
emotionally physically and mentally
I am old in that
16 years of my life
I was never good enough
Never what "He" wanted
I am old in that
I have been a parent
since i was 7
I am old in that
13 years
I have been ashamed of the scars
The marks he left on arms and face
i am old in that
i wasnt able to protect her
not from him
I am old in that
the rest of my life
i am reponsible
for my brothers death
I am old in that
i have found
The love of my life
And lost her
I am old in that
the doctor says i have 3 years
left to life
i am old

Age is nothing but a measure of time
It is the experiances we partake of that make us old

    Omg im so sorry you had to go through alot of that i have been abused since i was 5 and life never seemed the same when i never saw my mother again i felt good but i was ashamed of my scars but i leared that they are never going to go away that they are me they make me who i am today and i learned to except my past and omg a parent since you were 7 thats absolulty crazy if your talking about being that parent to your mom cause of everything that happened to her is wonderful and same if u do have a kid cause kids are miracels! I loved this and the fact that this is true just melts my heart and tares it apart but i loved it and im so sorry if you wanna tlk im here...-kortney-
