Radioactive Misery

by Craze   Aug 17, 2008

Chaos and dark clouds, Fill the streets like stark crowds, Poverty seems designated, The latter is premeditated, Food source and plant life is devastated, Death and nuclear warfare seems conjugated, Survival rate is low and decreasing, Radiation still unabated, The reproduced look like they shouldn't have been created, Radioactive rays take their advantage, Murder the ill, Kill the population in the vicinity, The others take their refuge in trinity, Hoping God will erase the consequences of the nuclear bomb, God seems to have no affinity,

The helpless are left to die,
The dead are left to disintegrate,
The others witness and cry,
Knowing death will be their fate,
The path of radioactive rays,
Sending the world into a haze,

State of emergency, This is a world of emergency, With an extra stress of urgency, No government left to help, Communication a thing of the past, All nations are primarily in ash, The riches of now were past trash, But now after the bombing nobody helps, Dog eat dog every man for himself, When there is help it's cutthroat, Man befriending man to slit his throat, Cook him over a fire, Eat him in his own desire, Then the very next day, He witnesses the arriving nuclear spire, His body quickly begins to transpire,

The helpless are left to die,
The dead are left to disintegrate,
The others witness and cry,
Knowing death will be their fate,
The path of radioactive rays,
Sending the world into a haze,

Nothing anybody can rely on, Suicide is the foreshadowing fate of most, Want to end the misery, Don't want to wait for a bomb, And roast and have the fate like the ghosts, And toassttt...

The helpless are left to die,
The dead are left to disintegrate,
The others witness and cry,
Knowing death will be their fate,
The path of radioactive rays,
Sending the world into a haze,

"The helpless are left to die,

    The path of radioactive rays,
Sending the world into a haze,"

Great rhyming and throughout this write, there was so much imagery, I could see it in my mind. But this was a very thought-provoking write that kept me interested the whole way. Keep writing, always and forever...
