Stay with me tonight

I see your face from across the room.
Your beautiful face that looked like it
was carved by angels. One look at you
and love is what I felt. That I will admit.

Your eyes met mine. Oh god the emotions
I felt. They all overflowed me. I stood their
though refusing to move my eyes from
yours hoping that you wouldn't dare.

Slowly and gracefully you walked over to me.
We started to talk. I melted when I heard your
silky soft voice. I looked into your crystal
eyes and melted on the inside even more.

We talked about everything that night.
Soon though I saw a sparkle fly through
your eyes as you grabbed my hand and lead
me up the stairs. Now I knew.

I knew what the sparkle was but I couldn't
deny that it was what I had felt. Sitting on the
edge of his bed, he beckoned to me to sit
with him, as he took off his tee.

Clothes fell to the floor. We became so intertwined
in our actions, that everything seemed right.
The movements were perfect. But it ended, so breathlessly
lying there I whisper "I love you, Stay with me tonight."
