Tired

I'm tired of being strong,
And holding it all in,
Can't i be weak for just a minute,
And show the child within?

I'm tired of holding on,
To the person you want me to be,
One day soon i will break down,
And you'll see the fragile me.

I'm tired of pretending,
That nothing brings me pain,
All i want to do,
Is be that little girl again.

    Chrissi, I can feel the frustration and the pain too in these verses. Nice rhyming and flow too.

    Why do we feel the need to conform to the way others think we should? I believe that we need to be ourselves and more importaintly, be happy with who we are. If we can achieve this and learn to fight for our happiness then those who truely love us will accept us.
