Where there was light
there is now darkness
once you were there and everything was alright
but now i am empty

once there was happiness
joy instead of pain
now i only feel sadness
for there is an empty space in my heart

i wish you were still here
'cos i need someone to hold me
in my heart you are still held dear
but it is not the same

i miss the smile that was once upon your face
i miss your loving touch
you dissapeared without a trace
oh how i long for you to be there

but i know you will never be back
now i may move on
and get things back on track
