Without You

by Artemis Entrerri   Jun 5, 2004

Waking up each morning,
now a different way,
a piece of me is missing
now that you've walked away.

Confusion in your life-
now I understand,
wishing you would have talked to me
while being able to hold my hand.

Making it sound so easy
but I know you still care,
I miss you more
knowing you're no longer there.

Your tears and hugs
confuse me even more,
wanting to hear your voice
more now than ever before.

Waiting and waiting
feeling more empty as each day goes by,
nothing seems more important
than having you back in my life.

Nothing I wouldn't do
to have us back together,
but now I hear how you're doing
and understand, without me, you're much better.
