Fate

by Artemis Entrerri   Aug 3, 2005

Day after day as the sun reached it's peak,
I would sit on your porch and wait to hear you speak.
You made my life complete,
with you, nothing could compete.

Then one day I got a note from your friend,
I didn't need to read it, I already knew it was the end.
When I read it, it was night time, and the sky was starry,
it said you didn't want to hurt me, and you were sorry.

Some people say, nothing good last forever,
but I didn't know our relationship would be severed.
I wonder if I will ever see you again, it would be great,
but I realize, that is up to fate.
