When First We Met

by Artemis Entrerri   Feb 12, 2005

The first time I saw you it was sunny and the sky a bright blue,
But all I could concentrate on was you.
The next time we met was at a party,
I asked a friend if he thought you liked me, he said hardly.

The more I saw of you, the more it seemed to be true,
I thought to myself, Tiffany, this can't be you.
One day by your house I walked,
You called me over and we talked.

For hours we would talk, all the way into night,
Even with the beauty of the stars, you were quite a sight.
And if I was ever so bold,
I would embrace you in an ever-loving hold.

One night in front of your friend, I confessed my feelings to you,
You didn't ask, but she asked me if I would be with you.
I replied by asking if you wanted to be with me,
You said yes, forever happy we thought we would be.
