Only with time shall it tell...

by Ash   Aug 28, 2008

Beneath the shadows tucked away,
Lingering beneath old memories that stay.
In darkness beckoned a way to defeat,
Life shot down upon the floor to weep.

In a matter of minutes all change so fast,
Relationships one built thinking it all to last.
Foolish be those that believe in what remains surreal,
Illusionary effects are the winding ways of what remains real.

Tears swell within eyes to silently fall,
As life now had finally taken it's toll.
In a matter of minutes you wished for a dream,
Yet cast so silently running through that rushed stream.

Few words be said until the final end,
When neither time nor forgiveness shall dare mend,
For once the devil beckons one cannot but turn away,
The light in life shadowed by evils of each day.

One bloody state of an unknown soul,
Upon the floor lay - stiff and cold,
Be it a matter of minutes or a few seconds too short,
One last time and the final end remains in sight of the mindful eye now caught.

Terrible though it may be,
Till eternal sleep forever conquer me.
Farewell though may all be well,
Only with time shall it all tell.....
