Lies, Denies, and Misconceptions

by MyxPeacefulxChaos   Aug 30, 2008

Your beauty goes unnoticed,
But only by yourself.
All others seem to see something,
That you kept hidden on your shelf.

Your eyes, they shine so bright,
Brighter than these Jersey stars.
You looked and broke that perfect mirror,
Now nothing's left but broken shards.

Your hair that's flowing in the breeze,
Is so perfectly arranged.
He tells you that you're beautiful,
You say that he's deranged.

Your body, so wonderfully curved,
But still you choose to hide it.
He said he loved the way you move,
And yet you still deny it.

Your mouth, so perfectly proportioned,
That which he said he loves to kiss.
You smile and shake your head no,
And now his compliments you miss.
