The Ultimate Sin

by MyxPeacefulxChaos   Sep 29, 2008

Mirror mirror on the wall,
Who's the most worthless of them all?
I was never good enough and never will be.
You said you cared, you said you loved me,
A lie, a lie, again and again.
As I lay ready to face the ultimate sin,
Staring at the blade, my life flashed before me,
The pain and the suffering I could not see.
You always had her, all along you were lying,
As I sat in the dark, uncontrollably crying.
Listening to the wind blow and watching the rain,
I promised myself to never be hurt again,
Just to pull the trigger and end it all there,
Why should anyone in this damned world care?
I was a face in the shadows, when everyone had light,
The one with the tear-stained pillow at night.
Its all over now as I stare at myself,
Knowing there's no one willing to help.
Mirror mirror on the wall,
Who's the most worthless of them all?
She is gone and will forever be the crack,
In the heart of the one who stabbed her in the back.
