I go to the bridge,
Stand up on the side,
For the first time,
I will be free.

As I jump,
Cars will screech,
To a halt,
To take a look.

They are too late,
I am gone,

Free from this life.

If only they,
Looked sooner,

Asked sooner,

I might be standing,
Standing tall,
People surround,
Looking, Caring, Asking.

But they are too late,
As they surround my corpse,
Only then do the ask,
Once I'm free and gone.
