In The Ashstack

by RussianRendezvous   Aug 31, 2008

Like static vertebrae in G-force winds,
With change comes the storm.
Yet when all falls silent you'll only feel more alone.

Communicating atrophy reaching critical mass.
Far-sighted fever, take a step a back.
You're thinking like a Polaroid, shaking in unclear.

Keep searching for hope in every mile,
Didn't you notice the chalk outline?
The highway is littered with wishful thinking, thrown out with the exhaust.

Wear your heart in pieces around their necks,
While this rigor mortis clots your chest.
And you'll try so hard to make your love tangible so it all falls down.

But In unvoiced desperation what will you ever find?
Just dial one for the narrator.
Because I don't know if you exist but I swear I heard you sigh.

Just like all the loose ends somewhere in the weave...

Ah! another brilliant poem. my favorite part was

"Wear your heart in pieces around their necks,
While this rigor mortis clots your chest.
And you'll try so hard to make your love tangible so it all falls down."

so very unique and wonderful choice of words. great job, 5/5

p.s. thank you for the lovely comment. :]

So complex but I understand the concept I bet half the people you show this to they wont understand half of it.
Something about your poems is amazing, once again i think its just how they end up being good without a single ryhme in sight.
