Masquerade Ball for Porcelain Dolls

[global]

Gently chafing footsteps begin to swarm across the seams,
Of running rhythms alongside the layers of tinted fabric.
As dust begins to dance beyond the shimmers of a plastered pearl gleam,
Silent eruptions burst throughout the crowds of vulgarity.

[shattering]

Velvet-laced fingertips release the stench of reciprocated stares,
Dissolving beauty as it slowly starts to evaporate to befallen conceit.
Evermore choking on the clean breaths of dying cadavers,
Fragile whispers begin to dangle from the mouths of filthy liars.

[of]

Desperate winds straddle poison to snouts of broken souls,
Leaving dented chap stick lips at the feet of bleeding scripts.
And the bite of seducing venom fiends trace circles across the wrists,
Drying gore unto the tepid sincerity of mumbling fingers...

[silence]
