Shadorma of Ramadan

Ramadan
Holy month of ours
Has begun
Fasting starts
Allah is with us in prayers
Angels' eyes on us

I miss you
How long time has past
Moments come
Moments go
We all have limited time
Please pray with me now

Hunger grows
My head is aching
Poor and rich
We all fast
Bow together side by side
On the Mosque floor

Angels' eyes
Clear and beautiful
Shed small tears
Suffering
Reminds this world is nothing
Heaven is not here

Time will pass
We keep reciting book
Gather souls
To praise you
To be near You, Creator
Accept our prayers
