Who's to blame
For those bordering on the lines of sanity
Walking down the street with their head hung low
With nothing to live for, and nothing to lose?
All to often you speak their names
In hushed whispers, behind their back
But no matter how soft you say it
They always hear it from someone else
People remember kind words they recieve
But what sticks forever
Are the words spit in hatred
Diminishing their self esteem and pride
For all those who commit suicide
We blame them for not reaching out
But who are they to turn to
When everyone is kicking them down?
