Revised for Life

by pseudobeatnick   Sep 3, 2008

A chance exploration of myself.
I was given this opportunity by escaping a certain death.
One that narrowly escaped me, brushing against my future, reminding me of memories to come.

Can I see such beauty in my own life,
While lending my heavy heart to others?
Heavy
Solemn
Heart.

My soul once decided to set aside its age,
And slowly screw itself with youth.
Harrowing
Forgotten
Youth.

Ageless and tired at once,
fastened closely to my heart.

Tomorrow if I wake I will be living,
eyes open and grateful.
Seeing the past as only my future...

Rewritten to cheat death.
