Confusing and Losing

by Steven Topaz   Sep 5, 2008

We're not the only one dying.
We could not love each other anymore.
Maybe tommorow we will be flying.
But today we cry here on the floor.

Being first to love you was not a choice.
That's one thing I've always been trying.
Now look at where we've been and where we're going.
Maybe soon the world will hear your voice.

One night you said you were crying.
I said I've never seen this before.
What is with the world when I stop trying.
Now your heart is worn out and sore.

But you will always have
No matter how hard it could be.
I will always see you as my sister.
So much tears and blood and laughter,
If only I could love you more.

How can you make peace when there's always fighting
All I know is that you've cried enough tonight.
Maybe for once they will start trying.
And both you and I can be flying,

And then one night you said you were crying.
I said that I've felt this way before.
What is with you and crying.
Because your heart is not worn out and sore.

Then you said something that made me know.
That you and I will always go
Where the world has never been.
So we can say that we have been flying.
I hope loving you is not a sin.

If I'm correct this is about a close friend whom you love but feel that the nature of your love is not appropriate. to this I can totaly relate. I've been in love with my best friend for well over a year. She is half of my life...
